Schroeder honed these skills on the trading floors of Chicago during a successful career as an options market-maker and proprietary trader. Quartzite delivers practical strategies to its clients. These strategies reflect an ongoing and in-depth analysis of each client’s exposure, not guesses about market direction. A little about our name:
On the edge of Wisconsin’s Driftless Area lies Devil’s Lake State Park, a beautiful gorge of metamorphic rock surrounding an idyllic lake. The quartzite here is said to be some of the oldest exposed rock in the world. The quartzite at Devil’s Lake is cherished by rock climbers (our founder included) for its uncompromising strength and beauty. We aspire to its stalwart, eternal qualities, and its beauty inspires us. What better name for a company that aims to serve its clients with rock-solid solutions to modern markets?
